Samandari is a friendly digital learning and career development platform created to address the
growing challenges of limited educational resources, outdated skills, brain drain and youth
unemployment in Burundi.
Every year, thousands of young people graduate from schools and universities with limited
access to modern learning opportunities and employment pathways. Many students face
shortages of textbooks, inadequate educational resources, and limited exposure to
technology-based skills that are increasingly demanded in today’s job market.

Samandari provides students with access to a comprehensive digital library containing textbooks,
past exam papers, teacher guides, student handbooks, academic resources, as well as fiction and
non-fiction books. This helps reduce the challenge of limited educational materials and ensures
students can access learning resources anytime and anywhere.
Online Classes
The platform offers practical courses designed to prepare students for the modern job market in
any field including, web development, mobile application development, machine learning,
programming fundamentals, College Application, Finances, and other based- skills courses.
Career & Opportunities Dashboard
Samandari connects users with opportunities that support their professional growth, including
access to job opportunities, internships, career development resources, interview preparation
materials, and CV and resume generation tools through the platform. The platform helps students
transition from education into employment by making opportunities more accessible and visible.

CyvleVie est une plateforme de santé menstruelle bilingue (Kirundi/Français) alimentée par l'intelligence artificielle, conçue pour améliorer la littératie en santé menstruelle au Burundi. Le projet se distingue par quatre innovations : une prédiction de cycle par IA qui s'adapte aux cycles irréguliers, une inclusivité totale (femmes cisgenres, hommes transgenres, personnes non-binaires), une accessibilité linguistique complète, et une adaptation aux ressources limitées via application smartphone et système SMS.
L'algorithme d'IA apprend des données uniques de chaque utilisatrice et s'adapte particulièrement aux cycles irréguliers, crucial pour le SOPK ou les irrégularités liées au stress. Les utilisatrices enregistrent leurs symptômes (crampes, humeur, flux) et reçoivent des alertes intelligentes, des informations personnalisées et des conseils de santé mensuels. Le centre d'éducation inclut un chatbot IA répondant aux questions en Kirundi/Français, des ressources sur le SOPK, et des conseils d'hygiène. L'IA génère également des rapports de symptômes téléchargeables pour les visites cliniques et des alertes précoces suggérant une consultation professionnelle.
L'accessibilité multi-plateforme est essentielle : l'application Android complète pour les smartphones, et un système SMS pour les utilisateurs ruraux (envoyer "DEBUT" le jour 1, recevoir les prédictions IA et conseils mensuels par SMS). Des livrets imprimés sont distribués dans les lieux partenaires. La confidentialité est prioritaire avec traitement sur serveurs cryptés, anonymisation des données, et verrouillage par PIN/biométrique.
